FIRST QUARTER

After forcing a punt, Auburn took over on its own 30 and drove 70 yards in 11 plays capped by a 3-yard touchdown run by Sean White to open a 7-0 lead. Auburn drove inside ULM territory on its next drive but an attempted 56-yard field goal by Daniel Carlson was blocked. ULM sacked Sean White and forced a fumble at Auburn's 21-yard line but Deshaun Davis forced a fumble and Rudy Ford recovered it at the 17-yard line on the next play. Just four plays later, White connected with Kyle Davis on a 48-yard touchdown to put AU up 14-0.

SECOND QUARTER

Auburn opened the quarter with a 10-play, 72-yard drive to take a 21-0 lead on a 1-yard run by Kerryon Johnson. ULM drove down to AU's 25-yard line but a 42-yard field goal attempt was blocked by Montravius Adams. Auburn marched 66 yards on seven plays to take a 28-0 lead as Kerryon Johnson ran it in from the 2-yard line. ULM drove down for a 2-yard touchdown pass on the last play of the half to cut the lead to 28-7.

THIRD QUARTER

Auburn opened the second half with a quick 88-yard drive capped by a 48-yard touchdown pass from White to Tony Stevens. Auburn drove 76 yards on eight plays on its next possession as Malik Miller scored his first-career touchdown from four yards out to make it 42-7. John Franklin replaced White at quarterback and promptly carried the ball 80 yards for a touchdown to give Auburn a 49-7 lead. Javaris Davis collected Auburn's second turnover of the game with an interception at the AU 25-yard line. Auburn put together a 8-play, 75-yard drive capped by a 39-yard touchdown pass from Franklin to Nate Craig-Myers.

FOURTH QUARTER

Both teams cleared the benches for most of the final quarter. Auburn drove down to the ULM 1-yard line late in the game the game but was stopped in 4th down. Walk-on Gary Walker recorded a safety with 31 second left.
