AUBURN - The 2013 Auburn football non-conference schedule will include home games against Washington State, Arkansas State, Western Carolina and Florida Atlantic.
Auburn's annual Spring Game, A-Day, will be held on April 20, 2013.
Auburn will open the 2013 season on Aug. 31 when it welcomes Washington State to Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Tigers host Arkansas State on Sept. 7 before beginning SEC play on Sept. 14 at home against Mississippi State. The Western Carolina game is slated for Oct. 12 with the Florida Atlantic game on Oct. 26.
Auburn defeated Washington State 40-14 in their only meeting in 2006. Auburn beat Arkansas State 52-26 in 2010 and 27-0 in 2006. Auburn last played Western Carolina in 2002, winning 56-0. Auburn's only meeting with Florida Atlantic came in 2011, coming away with a 30-14 victory.
The Tigers were originally slated to play Jacksonville State in 2013, however a scheduling conflict could not be resolved.
The 2013 SEC schedule, which was released last week, includes home games against Mississippi State (Sept. 14), Ole Miss (Oct. 5), Georgia (Nov. 16) and Alabama (Nov. 30). Auburn's SEC road schedule will include games at LSU (Sept. 21), Texas A&M (Oct. 19), Arkansas (Nov. 2) and Tennessee (Nov. 9).
