AUBURN | Rivals100 four-star Antwuan JacksonClick [rl]Here to view this Link. didn't participate Saturday in Auburn's 7-on-7 Tournament. He's a defensive tackle, so he was there more for support of his Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, Ga.) teammates and to get more familiar with Auburn.
"I got there Friday night and hung out with some players, went out to eat and talked with Coach (Gus) Malzahn and Coach (Rodney) Garner," Jackson said. "I had a good time. I hung out with (Auburn senior defensive end) DaVonte Lambert and (freshman defensive tackle) Devaroe Lawrence."
Jackson, ranked the No. 6 defensive tackle, watched his teammates on Saturday and spoke more with the Auburn coaches.
"My relationships with the coaches and trust in them get stronger every time I visit," Jackson said. "I had a good time just hanging out, watching and talking to the coaches."
Jackson, 6-foot-2 and 305 pounds, has had high interest in Auburn and his feelings didn't change after Saturday.
"Auburn is definitely a top school for me," he said. "I've been there plenty of times and I always want to go back, so they will always be a top school."
Jackson plans to release his top schools in July and could have a commitment soon after.
"I think it will come pretty soon," Jackson said.
Rivals.com ranks Jackson the No. 59 overall player in the 2016 class and No. 7 from Georgia.
