Another ESD addition: Rivals250 CB signs with Auburn

Early Signing Day has been good to Auburn, and it just got better.

Four-star Eric Reed Jr., who is ranked the No. 15 cornerback in the 2020 class, has signed with Auburn.

Reed chose Auburn over Georgia, his other finalist, during a signing day ceremony in his hometown of Shreveport, La.

Auburn on Wednesday also added four-star tight end Jeremiah Pegues, three-star linebacker Desmond Tisdol and three-star passrusher Romello Height.

Reed took an official visit to Auburn for the Iron Bowl and de-committed from Ole Miss shortly after. He narrowed his long list of offers to Auburn and Georgia before ultimately choosing the Tigers.

Reed is Auburn’s 22nd signee in the early signing period and fourth defensive back, joining four-star cornerback Marco Domio, three-star safety Chris Thompson Jr. and four-star nickleback Ladarius Tennison.

Rivals ranks Reed the No. 7 overall player in Louisiana and No. 188 in the Rivals250.
