AUBURN, Ala. | Auburn basketball will have at least two five-star recruits from the 2016 class on campus this weekend.
Five-star shooting guard Mustapha Heron, an Auburn commitment, will be joined by High Point (N.C.) Christian five-star power forward Edrice Adebayo.
Adebayo, listed at 6-foot-9 and 230 pounds, will be in Auburn on an unofficial visit, according to his guardian, Eric Peartree.
Heron will be on an official visit.
Adebayo's visit to Auburn comes after Bruce Pearl and Chuck Person both made visits to evaluate Adebayo. They think he'd be a good fit at Auburn.
High Point coach Brandon Clifford agrees.
"They have been in twice to see him workout," Clifford said. "Bam is a big-time athlete that likes to get out and run. He can also do a lot of things away from the rim that a lot of folks aren't aware of yet. That all fits into Coach Pearl's vision of what Bam could do at Auburn.
"Coach Pearl's style and reputation along with Coach Person's background make Auburn a place that's intriguing."
Adebayo will get his first look this weekend.
