AUBURN, Ala. | Pelham four-star forward Alex Reese visited Auburn on Saturday. He was one of three top 50 2017 recruits to make the trip to the Plains.
Reese, ranked No. 49 in the Rivals150, had both parents with him on the visit.
"We enjoyed it," Reese said. "We had a good time. We talked a lot with Coach (Todd) Golden. We saw everything and I played a lot."
Reese played full-court games with some of his fellow 2017 recruits, including 7-foot center Ikey Obiagu, who is ranked No. 24 in 2017. Spain Park five-star power forward Austin Wiley also was there, and is visiting again Sunday. Wiley is ranked No. 15 overall in '17.
"There were a lot of good players here," Reese said. "It was fun playing with everybody and we enjoyed talking with Coach Golden."
Reese, listed at 6-foot-9 and 225 pounds, has an offer from Auburn. He also has offers from Alabama, UAB, Florida, Georgia, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State, among others.
The in-state standout doesn't have a favorite of the group, but he does have much of his focus on four.
"Auburn is pretty high up there, along with Alabama, Vandy and UAB," Reese said. "I like it at Auburn. I'll be back probably during football season for a game."
Reese doesn't plan to make a decision anytime soon.
