AUBURN | Nana Asiedu visited Auburn for the first time Saturday and is already planning a return trip.

The 2018 offensive tackle from North Stafford (Va.) High spent a lot of time with offensive line coach Herb Hand.

“He’s a very sincere person. He’s awesome. I really love him,” Asiedu said. “I’m going to be back here probably for a game in the fall.”

Asiedu, 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds, attended Auburn’s Big Cat recruiting event.

“I loved how everybody interacted and the activities we did. It was great,” he said.

Asiedu already has 20 offers including Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Penn State, Rutgers and West Virginia.

“It feels awesome and it shows the coaches really love me and love what I can do on the field,” Asiedu said.

He doesn’t have any favorites or a timetable for a decision, but Asiedu does know what he’s looking for in a school.

“Just great academics and the football program, how successful they are,” he said.

A native of Ghana, Asiedu has been in the U.S. for 12 years. He played mainly tight end as a sophomore but moved to left tackle this spring.
