Montgomery (Ala.) 2015 tight end Jalen Harris has already made visits to Alabama and Georgia Tech this year. On Saturday, Harris made his way over to Auburn.
"It was great," Jalen Harris said. "I really liked what I saw. It is one of my top choices right now and I look forward to being back here later on. Just building up good relationships with the coaches and just having fun with all the coaches."
The 6-foot-5, 250-pound athlete played both offense and defense as well as varsity basketball last season for St. James School, but admitted that his main focus is playing tight end at the next level.
Harris spent time with Gus Malzahn, offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee, and tight ends coach Scott Fountain and said that they talked about how the offense would utilize his tall frame.
"Mostly about what my fit would be if I come here, how they will give me the ball. What type of plays we'll run."
Other Southeastern schools such as Kentucky are on the rising junior's list of programs he would like to visit.
