Hoop season is in full force at the Creek and California and Stanford are in the Top 25 of the NCAA women's RPI.

Meanwhile, at NCAA HQ, the NCAA announced that Stanford will host the 2011 Division I men's and women's tennis national championship tournaments.





California

In men's hoop, junior center Jordan Wilkes announced he will be skipping his senior year of eligibility after graduating this year.



Oregon

In football, the Ducks received a National Letter of Intent from receiver Lavasier Tuinei.



Stanford

In softball, senior Missy Penna and junior Rosey Neill were named as the conference's player and pitcher of the week, respectively.



UCLA

In men's hoop, senior center Alfred Aboya was named as the conference's player of the week.



WSU

In men's hoop, the Cougars were swept by Stanford and California to drop to 4-7 in conference play and 12-11 overall on the year.

In women's hoop, the Cougars were swept by Stanford and California to fall to 2-9 in conference play and 9-13 overall on the year.

In tennis, the Cougars lost to Sacramento State to fall to 3-5 overall on the season.

In swimming, the Cougars lost to rival Washington to fall to 6-2 overall on the season.

In soccer, Wazzu received a National Letter of Intent from forward Brandi Vega.



Arizona State

In football, the Sun Devils received a National Letter of Intent from receiver Jarrid Bryant.



Oregon State

In softball, the Beavers defeated Georgia but lost to Houston to move to 2-2 overall on the season.



USC

In women's hoop, senior guard Camille LeNoir was named as the conference's player of the week.



Washington

In football, the Huskies lost another assistant coach as offensive coordinator Jim Michalczik has left to join the staff of the NFL's Oakland Raiders.



Arizona

In men's tennis, junior Andres Arango was named as the conference's player of the week.
