One of the most highly recruited offensive line prospects in the state of Georgia, Columbus (Ga.) Hardaway's Antwane Greenlee, is excited about being named to the East squad for the inaugural Offense-Defense All-American Bowl.

For the 6-foot-6, 300-pounder, the game will give him the opportunity to see how he stacks up against some of the best talent in the nation.

"I think it's going to be a great experience to see where I'm at as far as an athlete," Greenlee said. "I know that I'm pretty good against the athletes that are here in Columbus, but to go and play against some of the best in the country, this game will give me a great chance to see where I'm at."

Five facts about Antwane Greenlee
Greenlee's sports hero is NFL offensive tackle Orlando Pace.
His favorite movie is "All about the Benjamins."
Greenlee was once verbally committed to Florida State.
His second-favorite sport is basketball.
His personal hero is his mother, Tiffaney Grant.
The game will kick off at 5 p.m. Thursday at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and will be televised live by ESPNU. Rivals.com is the official selection partner of the game.

Greenlee had scholarship offers from nearly every major program in the country. He talked about his game and what made him such a sought-after prospect.

"I think I am a great offensive lineman," he said. "I play hard. I stay focused in school as well as on the field. Our offense in high school runs the ball 80 percent of the time, so I excel at run blocking. I'm pretty quick for my size and get to the linebacker fast."

Greenlee just completed a breakthrough season at Hardaway. Coming off a 1-9 campaign in 2005, HHS improved to 6-4 this year and nearly reached the state playoffs.

"The season went pretty good," he said. "We lost a game we should have won early in the year and that kept us out of the playoffs, but we went 1-9 last year and improved to 6-4 this year because we got a new coach and a new offense."

Greenlee's recruitment had a couple of twists. He originally committed to Florida State in March before backing out and pledging to the in-state Georgia Bulldogs in August.

"It means a lot to play for my home-state school," Greenlee said. "Going to UGA, I will have a better opportunity to play early. I picked UGA for a lot of reasons, including (Bulldogs offensive line coach) Neil Callaway and (head coach) Mark Richt. I liked a lot of the players and the environment at the game."

Fellow UGA commit Aron White of Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge has been named to the West squad. Georgia defensive back target Morgan Burnett will play for the East. Greenlee is looking forward to playing with and against some of his potential future teammates.

"I think it will be a great experience to play with some of my future teammates to see where they really are," he said. "I can watch film all day on your Web site (Rivals.com), but you don't get a true picture of how they are playing until you see them in person."
