Runningthebulls.com is picking back up the 2014 position by position breakdown - taken over by Recruiting Analyst Mike Singer. We'll look in-depth at four USF targets in four different categories - and mention a few other notable players.

Here, We'll take a look at the athletes being targeted by the Bulls. These players can play anywhere on the field - and often do. To find out more information on each player, just click on the player's name for a complete Rivals.com profile.

Class of 2014 - Top Target
Jimmy Bayes

6-foot-3 | 197| WR/ Linebacker | Immokalee (Fla.)

Rundown: It has to be a relief for USF fans to see that our top target is a USF verbal commit. Not only is he committed - it's as solid as a verbal commitment can get. Jimmy recently flew out to USC to attend a camp - but walked away more solid about USF. He's very close to shutting the whole process down. Bayes is the leader of the 2014 class for the Bulls - and is key for this class moving forward. Jimmy is a fan favorite and is very vocal for USF on twitter. Bayes, who cracked the Rivals250, told RTB he'll be coming up to campus for the USF Sling and Shoot 7v7 tournament July 20th. We'll continue to keep a tab on his recruitment - and if/when he shuts down his recruitment.

Analysis: Bayes has all the talent in the world to be remembered as a 'great' at USF. He's one of the most versatile players in all of the 2014 class - not just the state. Speed of a wide receiver, quick hips of a defensive back, and the force of a linebacker - Bayes has the athleticism to play three different positions at a high level in college. He was mostly used as an edge rusher for Immokalee last season, but Bayes will be used much more at outside linebacker and safety this season - where he's expected to play in college. Bayes is a little on the slender side - standing 6-foot-3 and weighing nearly 200-pounds - but this young man will be one heck of a player.

Class of 2014 - Hot Prospect
Cordell Hudson

5-foot-11 | 159|WR/DB - ATH | Largo (Largo, Fla.)

Rundown: Just a Rivals two-star prospect at the moment, Hudson's recruitment completely blew up late in May. He didn't have a single offer when Hudson attended the USF spring game back in April, but received his first two offers from Wake Forest and Iowa State the same night. His high school teammates and USF commits Frankie Hernandez and Jarvis Stewart should have some impact in recruiting him to come to USF. Hudson might be leaning towards going out of state - and his academics are very important. Hudson's 'dream offer' is Stanford with their strong engineering program. USF will be in the mix to land the talented athlete who projects as a cornerback at the next level..

Analysis: The best single word to describe Hudson's game - smart. Hudson, a dual enrolled student in high school who will major in engineering in college, is extremely smart on the football field as well. He sniffs out screens (playing cornerback) very well - and is excellent in reading the quarterbacks eyes. His instincts are so solid that he'll even leave his zone at times as he correctly predicts where the quarterback is throwing the ball. He has above average size for a cornerback - and great size for a slot receiver at the division 1 level. Hudson is likely to play defensive back wherever he chooses to play his college ball.

Other Schools in the mix: Iowa State, Boston College, Syracuse, Indiana, Air Force.

Class of 2014 - Most Likely to commit
T.J. Harrell

6-foot-1| 210 | WR/DB - ATH | Tampa Catholic (Tampa, Fla.)

Rundown: USF and Florida State have been at the top of Harrell's list for quite some time now, but Tennessee and Louisville have crept in and an 'really made an impression on him.' Harrell has over 30 offers, and it's to USF fans happiness that yet another big time recruit is very high on the Bulls. Harrell recently tweeted "all my dawgs goin to USF... got me thinkin" - he's pretty far from making his decision, but USF has a solid shot at landing the talent Tampa Catholic star.

Analysis: Harrell absolutely dominated at Tampa Catholic last year - he's a man among boys the way he dominates. His game as a running back and linebacker translates nicely to the next level with his size and strength. He accelerates through the whole hard - and bounces off would-be tacklers. It should be a tight race for FSU and USF to the finish line for this talent - as they continue to fight off other schools.

Class of 2014 - Under the Radar
Winfred Ward

6-foot-2| 195 |QB-DB - ATH | East Lee County (Lehigh Acres, Fla.)

Rundown: Ward has been on the USF radar for quite some time, but will have to make a big impression this fall to pull in his biggest offer. His talent at positions all over the field should keep USF interested - not to mention he's just a flat out speedster. He impressed RTB at the Saturday Night Live Camp at Raymond James - winning one-on-one battles at receiver against a few higher profile defensive back prospects. Ward is on the 'outside looking in' at this point - but the East Lee athlete is one to keep an eye on.

Analysis: Ward had an incredible junior season and had some incredible highlight plays. His quarterback game can be compared to Denard Robinson - just to give an idea. He's a pocket first passer, but when he scrambles it opens up his receivers down the field - which sets up big plays for East Lee. He's excellent in quarterback designed runs and is electric in the open field. Just watching his tape, one would think he has BCS level offers already - we believe they should be coming. He's also a solid free safety - and just has ball-skills to play multiple positions. Some of the throws Ward makes in tight coverage is impressive - and his pocket awareness is solid. Once Ward has another breakout season - he should be on the map across the southeast.
