Dantonio: 'One of the toughest games I've experienced'
EAST LANSING - The Michigan State football team has had more than their fair share of bad breaks in 2012
But head coach Mark Dantonio still expects his team to bounce back from the disappointment of a 28-24 loss to Nebraska on Saturday the way they've done with other tough losses this year and throughout his tenure at Michigan State.
"All I can tell you is that you've got to keep pushing," Dantonio said. "You can't flinch. I see life everyday for people; life's tough for everyone. In the end, this hurts; this hurts a lot of people. You just have to be able to look things in the eye. I think you just have to be able to keep pushing, I don't know what else to say about it. Just keep working."
Michigan State led the Cornhuskers 24-14 after Le'Veon Bell punched the ball into the end zone on the first play of the fourth quarter. Allowing Nebraska to come back a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter made the loss to Nebraska one of the toughest Dantonio has had during six seasons as head coach at Michigan State.
"Tough game, very tough game, maybe one of the toughest games I've experienced here," Dantonio said. "I thought we had every opportunity to win the football game."
