Trevathan, Tydlacka to play in all-star game

The game will be held at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Ark, at 4 p.m.
Trevathan and Tydlacka will play for the South team, which will be coached by Kurt Schottenheimer. Schottenheimer was an assistant coach for seven NFL teams from 1987-2010.
Trevathan and Tydlacka, who had two of the most productive seasons of any Wildcats, will go through practice during the week and use the game as an opportunity to audition for NFL scouts.
Trevathan led the Southeastern Conference in tackles for the second straight year in 2011, finishing with 143 stops. He also had 11.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, four interceptions and five forced fumbles. He was fifth in the country in tackles per game.
Tydlacka averaged 43.65 yards on 79 punts on the season. That average was good for 19th in the nation. He also had 20 punts of more than 50 yards and dropped 19 punts inside the opponents' 20 yard line against just seven touchbacks.
Other notable players in the game include Aaron Corp, a former Richmond quarterback who tranferred from USC, former Arkansas safety Tramain Thomas, former Mississippi State safety Charles Mitchell, former Ole Miss running back Brandon Bolden and former LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson.
