In women's hoop, the Sun Devils lost to Tennessee to fall to 2-1 overall on the season.
In women's hoop, senior guard Darxia Morris was named as the conference's player of the week.
In cross country, sophomore Jordan Hasay finished third at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Indiana.
In football, senior defensive lineman Stephen Paea and senior kicker Justin Kahut were named as the conference's defensive and special teams players of the week.
In volleyball, the Cougars lost to Arizona and Arizona State to fall to 6-20 overall and 0-16 in conference play.
In football, the Cougars will play their 2011 game against Oregon State at Qwest Field in Seattle on October 22.
In men's hoop, Wazzu pummeled the Pilots of Portland to remain undefeated at 3-0 overall on the season.

In women's soccer, the Cardinal defeated fellow Pac-10 conference member UCLA to advance to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament, where they will play Florida State on Friday in Palo Alto.
In football, USC was in trouble with the NCAA again and running back Dillon Baxter was suspended after photos depict him receiving a free golf cart ride from a fellow student who has since registered as an agent.
