In football, Wazzu upset Oregon State, 31-14 to improve to 2-9 overall on the year and 1-7 in conference play and sophomore quarterback Jeff Tuel was named as the conference's player of the week.

In men's hoop, Wazzu began the 2010-11 season undefeated with wins over Southern University and Idaho.

In women's hoop, the Cougars opened the 2010-11 with losses to Saint Mary's and UC-Davis.

Oregon State

In women's soccer, the Beavers defeated Memphis then lost to Oklahoma State in the second round of the NCAA tourney.
