COLUMBUS, Ohio - There have been some memorable quarterback performances in the 88-year history of Ohio Stadium but Terrelle Pryor's outing against Eastern Michigan on Saturday is one for the record books.
Pryor was involved in six touchdowns during the 73-20 win over the Eagles with four by way of the pass, one on the ground and Pryor catching his second-ever touchdown strike from former high school teammate Jordan Hall.
Pryor ended up with 224 yards passing on 20- of-26 via the air and hit Dane Sanzenbacher on all four of his touchdown passes. Pryor also ran the ball seven times for 104 yards, including a career-long, 53-yard touchdown scamper. And then, of course, his 20-yard touchdown reception sent the sellout crowd at Ohio Stadium into a frenzy.
Head coach Jim Tressel seemed very pleased postgame with his quarterback. While it is nearly impossible to grade out with a winning performance at the position, Pryor's score should be high.
We caught up with Pryor after the big win for the Buckeyes to talk about his record- setting game, the big reception from his teammate and his feelings overall with the offense and the team effort as the Buckeyes now are 4-0 and ready to start Big Ten play.
