The 2010-11 athletic season continues at the Creek with several conference teams sitting in the Top 10 of national polls in both soccer and volleyball.

Meanwhile, at NCAA HQ, former Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, was allowed to play for Mississippi after an NCAA subcommittee overturned a previous decision banning him from play in the 2010 season.





Stanford

In football, the Cardinal defeated Sacramento State, 52-17 in their season opener. Tight end Levine Toilolo is out for the year after suffering an ACL knee injury.



Arizona State

In football, the Bears defeated UC-Davis, 52-3 in their season opener.



California

In football, the Bears defeated UC-Davis, 52-3 in their season opener.



UCLA

In football, the Bruins lost to Kansas State, 31-22, in their season opener.



Washington

In football, the Huskies lost to BYU, 23-17 in their season opener.



Arizona

In football, the Wildcats defeated Toledo, 41-2, in their season opener.



USC

In football, the Trojans defeated Hawai'i, 49-36 in their season opener.



Oregon

In football, the Ducks defeated New Mexico, 72-0, in their season opener.



WSU

In volleyball, Wazzu defeated San Francisco but lost to Tulsa and UC-Santa Barbara to move to 3-3 overall on the year.

In football, the Cougars lost to Oklahoma State, 65-17 in their season opener and freshman running back Rickey Galvin was lost for the season with a broken forearm.

In soccer, Wazzu defeated Weber State, 4-1 but lost to BYU to move to 2-4 overall on the year.



Oregon State

In football, the Beavers lost their season opener to TCU, 30-21, to fall to 0-1 on the year.
