Chow talks quarterbacks

UCLA offensive coordinator Norm Chow and head coach Rick Neuheisel have a decision to make whether to start last year's starter, Kevin Craft or true freshman Richard Brehaut to replace starter Kevin Prince who was injured in the Tennessee game.

Chow answered questions from the media after Tuesday's practice.

It seems you approached things with Kevin Prince not really testing him, that's what it seemed like? Is that kind of going to be the theory or at least the game plan with these two guys?

Chow: "Not testing Kevin Prince? Okay…, we're trying to win a football game. It's not about one guy. It's not about making sure, he does this, it is just trying to win a football game. Whatever it takes to win a football game.

"I thought Kevin Prince handled an extremely adverse setting awfully well. I don't know about being tested. I thought he was tested every dad gum down he was out there. You didn't see that pass he threw to Cory Harkey in the first drive that maintained the drive, he got swat. That was tested pretty good to me."
