Three-star corner talks recruiting

Gadsden City (Ala.) three-star cornerback Dale Trimble is gearing up for his senior season.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder has been hard at work for the past few weeks getting ready for their season opener and really hasn't spent much time worrying about recruiting. But when the year kicks off next Friday there will likely be several schools in attendance watching his every move.

"I really haven't talked to anybody since our practices started because I am trying to focus on the season and everything," Trimble said. "When I talked to Tennessee, they told me they were going to be at the games to evaluate me. A lot of school like Clemson, Ole Miss, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Louisville and so forth have told me the same thing."

Trimble has offers on the table from Auburn, Clemson, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Tennessee. While he does not have a top five there are five schools that he is gravitating towards.

"I really don't have any favorites but I do have a one thru five that I am leaning towards - Tennessee, Ole Miss, Auburn, Clemson and Kentucky," Trimble said.

Mississippi State was not among the schools Trimble named off but there is a good explanation why the Bulldogs have not been included at this point.
