Impact Aggies: No. 3 Jerrod Johnson
After a 4-8 season in 2008, Texas A&M is in rebuilding mode under second-year head coach Mike Sherman. The spring showed that the Aggies are in a better position with a host of young returning players and a better understanding of both the offense and defense.
But the Aggies are still very young with big holes waiting to be filled. Filling them will fall onto plenty of young players, some who didn't even play in 2008. As we move toward the 2009 season, we'll take a look at a number of factors going into the Aggies' upcoming season.
First, we'll take a look at the top impact players on the Aggie roster heading into fall training camp. These aren't necessarily the best players, but rather the players that could make the biggest impact in a successful 2009 campaign for the Aggies.
