Three-star has top five

Three-star two-way standout, Anthony Jefferson from Los Angeles (Calif.) Cathedral is mostly regarded as a wide receiver, but the 6-foot-2, 175-yard athlete, who runs a consistent 4.5-second 40-yard dash, is being recruited for three different positions. Of his new announced top five, three do want him at the wide receiver position, one at cornerback and one as an athlete.

What about those named top five fortunate colleges? Who are they and is there a favorite among the five?

"I probably have 12 offers, right around there" Jefferson said. "My top five is USC, UCLA, Cal, Oregon and Oklahoma." In that order? "No, it is just my top five."

Of the above five schools, Cal, Oregon and Oklahoma want him as a receiver, USC wants as a corner and UCLA is recruiting him as an athlete. He doesn't know which position he would prefer to play at the next level. "I'm still debating" on that issue.
