Brown brings recruiting into focus

I've pretty much cut my list down. A few coaches came in contact with me during the period of time that they were allowed to. Vandy is still the front runner. MTSU, ARK ST., and WKU have also contacted me via phone and asked me to participate in their summer senior camps, on which I plan on attending. I'm going to Arkansas State this weekend for their camp on saturday, and then coming back to go to MTSUs on sunday(if all goes well in us coming back to Nashville saturday nite). I plan on heading up to WKU in mid-July for one of there camps.

Unfortunately, I must not have been a big prospect for the other schools that had been showing me interest, because none of them called me during the period. So as of now, VANDY, MTSU, ARK ST., and WKU have my main focus.

I also still have the NUC ULTIMATE 100 camp in Atlanta on June 20, and hopefully I perform well enough there to get the invite to Oklahoma City (the NUC Top 100 combine).

With Vandy, Coach Cain is my recruiting coach. Vandy is really the best of both worlds. It's in the SEC East (the more competitive of the two) and is also an amazing school academically. I've grown up in Nashville my entire life and I love the city, and Vandy looking at me gives me the hope that I can stay is this city for life.

Coach Gilbert from ARK ST. is responsible for recruiting me. He is a hardnosed guy and I like that. He reminds me of our defensive coordinator (who played DB in college). Coach Gilbert is very fundamental and knows how to be productive. His secondary groups at ARK ST have been some of the best in the nation. That really talks to me and gets me more interested in the school as a whole, and I'm excited about the camp there this weekend.

Coach Stephens has been in contact with me from MTSU. He came to one of our spring scrimmages and me and him talked for a minute. MTSU is really gaining attention in the football world and a program on the rise.

Coach Rector from WKU is a very nice man. He is from the surrounding area so he can relate and knows how things are. WKU is pretty much new to the D1-A but they are jumping right into the fire. I like that. The Sun Belt isn't just a pushover type of conference either. I'd love to be apart of something great at that school.
