Rollison wasn't even considering Auburn until late December when Gene Chizik hired Curtis Luper away from Oklahoma State. Luper recruited Rollison to OSU, but after arriving at Auburn, Luper immediately had the Tigers a serious contender. Rollison took an official visit Jan. 23-25 to the Plains and committed two days later. He never waivered. AuburnSports.com spoke with Rollison about his recruitment, his late decision to look at Auburn and sign with the Tigers, the role his relationship with Luper played in his decision and much more in the first of our profile stories of the 2009 signees.
On his workout regime: "We just got done with track and I'm going to start lifting weights harder now. I've also been throwing footballs and doing drills with my quarterback coach."
You say you're at 195 now, how much do you want to weigh when you report to Auburn? "I'd like to gain about five or 10 more pounds, get up over 200."
When do you plan to move to Auburn? "It will probably be in either June or July. We haven't really set a date, yet."
