Spring Game Insider: Defense turns the tables

Offense stunned by turnovers (By Ira Schoffel, Osceola)

In the post-game interview room, possible explanations were flying around as fast as the fumbles that were squirting loose from Florida State players' hands during Saturday's Garnet and Gold Game.

From offensive line breakdowns that led to hits in the backfield to "stage fright" for young skill position players, there was no consensus as to what caused FSU's offense to lose seven turnovers - five on fumbles and two on interceptions.

"I can't name a position we did play well at," offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher said. "I don't know if any of them played that bad, but I don't know if any of them played well."
