AU hoping to send seniors out in style

Auburn's four seniors will have a chance to do something special Saturday afternoon as No. 12 LSU (25-5, 13-2 SEC) visits Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum in the regular season finale for both squads.

AU (20-10, 9-6) will be looking for its 10th SEC win for the first time since 1999 and only the second time in the last 21 years.

AU, which is 15-3 at Beard-Eaves this season, also has a chance to set a record for most home wins in a season.

But most importantly, AU has a chance to continue their march toward postseason play and continue their hot streak, which has seen the Tigers win seven of their last eight conference games.

Their only loss came 79-72 at LSU two weeks ago.

"We will have our work cut out for us against the best team in the league," AU head coach Jeff Lebo said. "I think our guys will be very excited to play. It's a big night for our four seniors."
