You won't go wrong with Wright

Defensive back/athlete Demetrius Wright (6-1, 190, 4.6) from Corona, Calif., has two offers on the table and another scholie opportunity pending. You won't go wrong if your team recruits Wright. He is one of the best defensive backs from the football talent factory that is the Inland Empire area of Southern California.

"Demetrius projects as a safety that covers like a corner," Corona coach John Brandom said. "He only had one pass completed against him in league play and that was Ricky Marvray who is going to UCLA."

"Demetrius is a very tough kid," Brandom said. "He played his whole sophomore season with a deep bone bruise in knee and played through it."

"Demetrius is a big, physical, tough kid," Brandom said. "He's very intense and fiery. He's very competitive, but he doesn't have his mouth yapping at the opposition, he just goes about doing his job."

Definitely one to keep your eye as the spring recruiting evaluations continue.
