KU playing for first place on Monday night

The Big 12 game of the year could very well take place on Monday night. Playing in-front of a sold-out Lloyd Nobel Center, and a national audience watching one of the most heavily anticipated Big Monday showdowns in recent memory, No. 15 ranked Kansas (22-5; 11-1) and No. 2 Oklahoma (25-2; 11-1) will take the court with the top spot in the conference on the line. For Bill Self and the Jayhawks, winning in Norman will be no easy task.

Late on Saturday night, Self's wish became a reality. For the first time in conference play, the mighty Sooners tasted defeat. Texas got the best of Oklahoma, 73-68. Blake Griffin, the best player in college basketball, wasn't so marvelous against the Longhorns.
