Josh Shipp ready to get back on track

Senior guard Josh Shipp patiently answered questions about the status of the team after a very disappointing road trip that saw the Bruins drop two important games against Arizona and Arizona State. He talks about what it will take to rally the troops and get the Bruins back on the winning track.

What is it that this team has faith in? What is it that will help you rally around?

Shipp: "We know each other. We practice every day with each other and we know what we are capable of. These last few games we just weren't playing our best basketball, but we know what we can do and hopefully we will go out there and do it."

How much does it help knowing that you are returning home where you guys have done pretty well as opposed to being on the road?

Shipp: "It helps a lot. Like I've said, I think we do player better at home and we are able to rally behind our crowd and hopefully that helps us out and we will get these wins this week."

Is it just the crowd or is it something else?

Shipp: "I think that all teams play better at home, the crowd is just part of it, but just being at home, being in a familiar atmosphere. I think that helps a lot for us."
