Tigers looking to make it three straight

Two straight home conference wins has put Auburn back in the thick of the SEC West race. But if the Tigers want to make it three straight at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum Saturday, they'll have to do it against a talented Mississippi State squad.

The Bulldogs are 16-8 on the season and 6-3 in the conference, good for second in the West. Auburn is third in the West, two games behind MSU at 15-9 overall and 4-5 in the SEC.

"They present a lot of problems with their ability to shoot the basketball from three," AU head coach Jeff Lebo said. "That is certainly an area that we will try to focus on in the next couple of days.

"What makes them hard to defend are the four shooters on the perimeter and also the guy inside who can score. That's a difficult thing there. To me the hardest thing as a coach to prepare for is a team that has this kind of offensive setup. It really puts a lot of pressure on you and how you are going to defend them."
