Collison makes the point
The Bruins are playing about as good as anyone in the nation right now and though it is definitely a team effort, the catalyst has been the play of their senior point guard, Darren Collison. UCLA coach Ben Howland has been fond of saying about his point guard, it starts and ends with Darren. UCLA's talented point guard spent a few moments with the media recently.
Where can this team get better?
Collison: "Just to remain consistent. There are some area that we can approve on like shooting. Even the things that we are doing well, we just want to continue to be consistent. We don't want to level out or have a drop off.
"As these games Pac 10 games go it's going to be hard and we can't be inconsistent, because these games have so much meaning.
"Case in point, our last three games, we needed to win these games in the Pac 10 to remain in first and then we played a good Notre Dame team that everybody is going to look to see what we would put on our resume.
"Now we are playing Arizona State, the team that beat us at our place and we are looking to give a little payback so every game is having meaning. As long as we stay consistent, we should be fine."
