Albany has KU's full attention

Bill Self expected his young and inexperienced Kansas team to go through some ups-and-downs this year, which has certainly played out to be the case. However, Self didn't expect the Jayhawks to match last year's season loss total, which was three, by December, but that's exactly where KU (8-3; 0-0) stands coming off a 17 point loss at Arizona. After a few days off, Self and the Jayhawks recently returned to Lawrence and immediately began preparing for Albany (8-4; 0-0).

Kansas opened up the season by defeating UMKC, Florida Gulf Coast and Washington. The Jayhawks appeared to be on their way to a 4-0 record, but stumbled down the stretch to Syracuse.
