Inside look at Army's top targets visiting on Saturday

With the annual Army-Navy game upcoming this Saturday and National Signing Day just about two months away, the Army staff is confident that this is the season that the pendulum of victory will be on the side of the Black Knights.

On Saturday, there will be a full house of some 70,000 fans to see the Black Knights take on the Midshipmen on the neutral grounds of Lincoln Financial in Philadelphia. Included in that mixture of fans will be approximately 47 Army Black Knights' prospects, who will have a chance to see the Black Knights up-close and take in one of college football's most historical and treasured rivalries.

Here is a glimpse at some of the prospects that Army hopes to get on campus and eventually wear the Black & Gold of Army.

The Prospects

1. Galen Clemons, DE (commit)
2. Marcus Dixon, RB (commit)

Interesting Name

Some notables are DB, Bobby Petrino and yes, his name does some familiar. He's the son of Arkansas Head Coach, Bobby Petrino, who will be accompanying his son to the game on Saturday. Speaking of defensive backs, Joe Rippe is one of the top DB prospects for Army and will in attendance.

3-Star Prospects

Unfortunately, 3-star DE, Julius Warmsley will not be attending and will be on an official visit to Tulane. Our feeling is that once Warmsley's official visits are concluded, he will be saying yes to the Black Knights. Another 3-star player who will be on board is RB/FB Justin Semmes. Like Warmsley, the athlete running back, who has college size (6-foot-1, 222 pounds) already, is an Army lean.

Hassin Returns

As announced early this week, running back Jared Hassin obtained his release from Air Force and will be on campus next year dressed in the Black & Gold of Army, and of course he will be in attendance on Saturday.

On Campus Now

Two prospects are making the best of their time this week by taking their unofficial visit to Army, and piggy backing that visit with a trip to Philadelphia for the Army-Navy game. Offensive lineman, Robert Panchisin, out of Malvern (PA) Malvern Prep High School really made the best of his time, as the 6-foot-2, 280 pound offensive lineman, committed to Army last Tuesday. Also on campus for an unofficial visit was offensive lineman, Hank Jacobs Beaver Dam (WI) Beaver Dam High School.
