Kansas (4-1; 0-0) responded to its first loss of the season by pounding Coppin State, 85-53, on Saturday night. Kansas dropped its first game of the year back on November 25. Having built a double-digit lead against Syracuse in the second half of the CBE Classic Championship, the Jayhawks couldn't maintain that lead and stumbled in overtime, 89-81.
