Berry gets second chance as starter
Mike Berry had to wonder when or if he'd get another chance.
Just over a year ago, Berry had the look of a future star, starting Auburn's first three games at right guard as a redshirt freshman. But after a 1-2 start, he was replaced in the starting lineup by true freshman Chaz Ramsey.
This season, Berry has mostly watched from the sidelines as sophomore Byron Isom has emerged as one of AU's most talented young offensive linemen, a moniker he once held.
But that all changed last week when Isom was sidelined with a concussion and Berry suddenly found himself back in the starting lineup against West Virginia.
The 6-foot-3, 310-pounder would up playing a solid game in his fourth career start grading out at 85 percent in 66 snaps.
