Bruins return to work
The Bruins head into their bye week knowing exactly what is at stake. They need to win three out of four games or their season will conclude after the USC game. The offense practiced with heightened intensity. It will be that kind of effort that will help the Bruins to close strong. UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel answered questions after practice.
Neuheisel: "Good practice. We understand given the last month of the season that we have to play our best football to have any hope of playing beyond that and it would be as I just told them, criminal if we didn't come together and get that done.
"We are very, very fortunate to either be playing or working here at UCLA and to squander the opportunity that we have regardless of the circumstances and not play our best would be just be something we should all be ashamed of.
"Hopefully we will get that great kind of effort and play our best football and hopefully that will be good enough to springboard into post season."
