Stanford commit visits UGA

Georgia is still without a wide receiver commitment in the class of 2009, so they are recruiting a number of talented prospects at this position. They had a good group of junior and senior wideouts on campus this weekend and one of the best is already committed to Stanford.

"This was my third game at Georgia, but my first game this season," said Jamal Patterson. "I got there around 4:30 after looking for a parking place for about an hour. I was able to see the Dawg Walk, walk the sideline for about an hour, and watch the game from the stands."

"I really liked the Dawg Walk, the fans were crazy out there. I was able to talk to a few guys on the sideline while watching the team warm up too, so that was nice. The atmosphere was amazing there too. I had to scream at the person in front of me just to talk to him. It was so loud during the game."

The crowd stayed into the game even though Alabama jumped out to be a big first half lead. Patterson watched Georgia climb back into it in the second half only to fall short in the end.

He enjoyed watching two of the best in the SEC go at it inside Sanford Stadium.
