Star quarterback Takes in Sooner Victory
With many of the nation's top juniors just starting to receive their first correspondence from schools across the country it's safe to say that Houston Second Baptist quarterback Connor Wood has a head start on most of his contemporaries. The 6-foot-4, 201-pound signal-caller already saw Norman for himself last summer during Oklahoma's summer camp, and this weekend caught his first ever Sooner game.
Wood may have been seeing his first game at Oklahoma, but on many levels it was a unique college experience for him.
"Oh I loved it, it went really good," Wood said. "I went on the field in the pre-game. I have never been that close up to college players watching them throw and warm up. Just being on the field and seeing how they move in person."
