Ducks host three-star OT

The Oregon Ducks will have a single official visitor for their match up with Utah State this weekend. Jack Harris, the big offensive tackle (6'6, 270)from Parker, Colorado will be in Eugene to watch the Ducks host the Aggies. Duck Sports Authority caught up with him today in order to check on his plans for his trip.

It sounds like it will be a busy weekend for Harris. Not only is he visiting the Ducks, his high school team is playing Thursday night. "Our team is playing Douglass County High School," Harris told us. "They were runner up in state last year. They lost in the championship game to Grandview by a touchdown. They also lost last week so we like our chances against them. We have 27 returning seniors, and that has made a big difference in the team. We play, work, and interact together. We are all friends."

Harris was pleased with the performance of the Chapparal offensive line in his team's first game, as well as his own. "I feel our whole line did pretty good. I grade myself on how the whole line did. We gave up one sack, but it wasn't from an outside rush."
