State inside Palmeiro Center again

The Mississippi State Bulldogs were forced inside the Palmeiro Center again this morning due to soggy conditions on the practice field.

It was the third consecutive practice inside the climate-controlled building for the Bulldogs. The team practiced for nearly two and a half hours in the first of two practices scheduled for Wednesday.

"All in all again it was another good day and we're moving in the right direction," said head coach Sylvester Croom. "I thought the guys had a lot of enthusiasm. I know they are tired and beat up after two physical practices pretty close together but I'm pleased with the way they are reacting to it. We've still got a lot of work to do."

It took a while for the offense to wake up this morning but the defense had a better showing stopping the run than they did on Monday.

"We got a lot accomplished," Croom said. "The offense started slow this morning and the defense started fast. The defense won the 9-on-7. They had a hard time stopping the run yesterday but today they did a great job. Kyle Love had a lot to do with that."
