Arthur finding his way

It was a draft-day nightmare. A sure-fire lottery pick, Darrell Arthur, was the last player remaining in the Green Room, waiting for his name to be called. Players were coming out of the general admission stands to shake hands with NBA commissioner David Stern, yet Arthur sat patiently and waited for his turn. At pick No. 27, the New Orleans Hornets finally selected the former Jayhawk, but that was only the beginning, as Arthur was then traded three times before the following morning, eventually landing with the Memphis Grizzlies, who are glad the events turned out the way they did.

After scoring 20 points and pulling down 10 rebounds in one of the greatest NCAA championship games ever, Darrell Arthur had decided his time had come.
