Top Ten Tigers: Leader of the pack

Fall camp is now just hours away. Leading up to the day of the first practice, will count down the ten most important Tigers for the 2008 season. The list was made up with a look at past performance, expected impact during the 2008 season and depth at any given position. Today, we finish off the countdown.

1. Chase Daniel

Why he's on the list: For real? Because he's not just the most important player on this team, he might be the most important player in the country. For all the weapons Missouri has, it just doesn't work nearly as well without Daniel at quarterback. He is the key ingredient to the Tiger offense and the major reason Mizzou is picked by many to win the Big 12--and perhaps even the national--championship.
