Sooners Like Prize Quarterback
For the last few summers Oklahoma's camps have served a larger purpose to the group of upcoming juniors than their elder high school classmates. One of the most impressive 2010 prospects in attendance was Houston (Texas) Second Baptist star signal caller Connor Wood. The 6-foot-4, 201-pound quarterback showed up to take part in Oklahoma's one-day camp and impressed all onlookers.
The fact that he was able to be impressive in spite of winds gusting at well over 25 miles per hour says something of his remarkable talent.
Wood admitted that his trip to where 'the wind comes sweeping down the plains' was a learning experience.
