Underclass talent shine at Bruin Camp

One of the most productive camps UCLA has had in recent years was the camp held in 2006 when sophomores Rahim Moore, E.J Woods and Jerry Johnson among others were on hand showing off their skills to the then Bruin coaching staff. It was at that time that UCLA was able to plant the seeds that ultimately helped bring in the talented crop of 2008.

Once again a UCLA camp had an abundance of underclass players that the Bruins will be able to track as it gets near their time on the recruiting trail.

Wide receiver Robert Woods (6-0, 180, 4.45) from Gardena (Calif.) Serra was outstanding in both sessions. Not only is his athleticism off the charts, but he showed a fiery competitive spirit. It didn't matter who he was up against or how badly he would be held or mugged, this guy would get the ball. Look for Woods to be a national recruit. UCLA has already offered. Cal and Colorado join the Bruins with offers on the table.

Also from Serra were wide receiver Lindsey Anderson (6-0, 180) from the class of 2010 and defensive end/ Jason Gibson (6-3, 210) from the class of 2011 are players to remember.
