Signee Profile: WR looking to make impact
Wide receiver/return specialist
Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas
5-foot-8, 160 pounds
Pierre-Louis was one of the more exciting playmakers in the state of Florida in 2008 helping lead STA to the state title. Pierre-Louis is also a standout in track, where he recently won the state championship in the 200-meter dash and placed second in the 100. AuburnSports.com spoke with Pierre-Louis about track season, his thoughts on the new offense, where he stands with qualifying and more in the eighth of our profile stories of the 2008 Tiger signees.
On his workout regime: "Auburn sent me a packet a couple of months back and I've been lifting, doing the workout and running track. I just got through running track."
How did track season go? "It went good. I got first in the 200, second in the 100 and my 4x400 team got third in the state. It was a really windy day. In the 100 I ran a 10.7, and in the 200 I ran a 21.2. (UF signee) Jeff Demps won the 100."
What is the fastest time you've recorded in the 100-meter dash? "I ran a 10.35 about three weeks ago."
