Airing it out with Ari Stewart

With the 2008 Class signed and sealed, it is time to turn our attention to the top seniors on the horizon. The state of Georgia is deep and talented next year, and Wheeler wing player Ari Stewart is one of the best in the Nation.

Now that the high school season is complete, he is now playing AAU ball, and his first tournament is next week.

"Yeah it's going pretty good," said Stewart. "I am playing for the Worldwide Renegades, and the Real Deal on the Hill Tournament is next weekend."

While he is already one of the top players in the nation, he concedes that while he has gotten better, he still has a ways to go.

"Yeah I have improved a lot this past year. I am better at ball handling and putting it on the floor. I needed to work on my dribbling skills and I think it is working out well."

"But I still have to get better at creating shots for others and driving it to the lane more so others can get open looks. I think being able to break people off the dribble will go a long way to making that happen."

With so many schools after the talented player from Marietta, he has some big decisions to make. He can literally pick a school in almost every major conference to play college ball.
