UGASports was out at Columbia and North Gwinnett high schools on Wednesday to cover two of the top unsigned players in the state of Georgia. UGA made a strong push for Travis Leslie and Ebuka Anyaorah over the past month, and both signed with Dennis Felton a day ago.
The first player to sign was Leslie of Columbia. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound athlete inked with the Dawgs a little after 11am Wednesday morning.
He chose UGA over schools like Georgia Tech, Clemson, Oklahoma, and others. He committed to UGA a few weeks ago during an unofficial visit.
About three hours later, Anyaorah signed with Georgia over Colorado, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, and Auburn.
The 6-foot-4 guard out of North Gwinnett is a sharp shooter with long arms, and good defensive skills. He was trying to keep his decision quiet for a few days, but it slowly leaked out that he was committed to the Dawgs.
He made things official around 2:30pm on Wednesday and he was very excited to be a Georgia Bulldog.
UGASports was on the scene for each signing and we have photos of the new Dawgs right here.
