Video: Tom Izzo's season-ending roundtable

EAST LANSING - Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo closed the chapter on the 2007-2008 on Tuesday when he met with members of the local media to share his thoughts on the year.

In the 1 hour and 10 minute round-table session Izzo also gave his thoughts on the positives and negatives during his team's season which came to an end with a Sweet 16 loss to Memphis last Friday.

Michigan State graduates two-time first-team All-Big Ten standout Drew Neitzel and gifted post defender Drew Naymick in 2008. But the Spartans return a lot of talent to the floor next year and Izzo expects significant production from his 2007 freshmen Kalin Lucas, Durrell Summers, and Chris Allen.

During his season-ending press conference, Izzo also spoke at length about the expectations he has for national Top 10 2008 signee Delvon Roe, who is expect to make an immediate high level impact for the Spartans next fall. Izzo also answered questions about Roe's classmate Korie Lucious and Draymond Green, who led Saginaw High to championships during both his junior and senior seasons under head coach Lou Dawkins.
