2010 DB has a 2007 memory to build on
We are only a little over a month passed signing day 2007, but it is never too early to look ahead. While visiting schools to look for juniors, we come across sophomores that catch our attention as well. One class of 2010 athlete that looks to be a major prospect in the future is Garry Peters our of Conyers (Ga.) Heritage. He is an athlete that went head to head with Georgia signee Tavarres King in 2007 and he is ready to build off that.
"Tavarres is a great athlete," said Peters with a sigh. "The first play of the game, he caught a 20 yard pass on me and I had to get focused fast."
"He can do it all. He can block, catch, run, and do it all. He is a great athlete and the best receiver I have seen. I was one corner that he did not score against last year, so I take that in and now build on that."
"Tavarres caught some passes on me, but he never made the big play. He is a top receiver and he had some catches and yards on me, but I think I played him pretty good."
King is not the only receiver or 2008 Rivals100 member Peters knows about. This sophomore is locked on Rivals quite often and he uses it to see if he can learn something and improve his own game.
Peters may only be a sophomore, but he is well aware of the top players on Rivals.com and he is trying to see what he can pick up from those stars of today.
