Georgia offers 2010 running back
The recruiting process speeds up year after year and it is no surprise that some of the top prospects in the class of 2010 are already picking up offers. When you are good, college coaches recognize it, and Georgia recognized the talents of one of the top backs in that class over the weekend when they offered talented running back Marcus Lattimore.
"Georgia invited me down to visit on Saturday, so I went down there to check them out," said Lattimore. "I did not know much about Georgia, but I had heard some things about them before the visit. I thought it would be nice, but it was even better than I expected."
"They have really good tradition at Georgia and I did not know all about that. They have had a lot of great running backs there and I learned about some of them during the visit. The facilities are nice, the people are nice, and it was a great visit."
One thing that really stood out to the 5-foot-11, 210-pound back out of Duncan (S.C.) Bynes was the Georgia coaches.
"I liked the running backs coach (Tony Ball) a lot," said the 2010 athlete. "He was a cool guy and he looked like he was a good coach."
"I was in the meeting with the running backs and one of the recruiting coaches came and got me out of there. He said it was for a good reason and he took me to Coach Richt's office."
