With practice only two days in and the shoulder pads still sitting unused in the locker room, it's hard to judge which players are ahead and which ones are behind. That being said, a few players are already turning some heads including Taiwan Easterling.

And were Easterling's shoulder been healthy, he might be turning heads next door inside Dick Howser Stadium instead of on the football practice fields. The former sixth-round draft pick of the Florida Marlins had every intention of playing college baseball this spring but fate had a different plan for him.

"My shoulder wasn't really healed up from when I messed it up so I felt like I needed to get that healed up," Easterling told "I feel like I need to come out and show it in in football too. It's a big change for me since I've never not played baseball.
